Admission, Tickets and Refunds

 

1.1 In order to facilitate the security, safety and comfort of all guests the organisers and Premises Licence Holder reserve the right to refuse admission.

 

1.2 Upon booking you will be emailed your e-tickets.

 

1.3 No admission without a valid e-ticket.

 

1.4 All ticket types are non-transferable except by special arrangement through the organisers.

 

1.5 Tickets are strictly non-refundable. In the event of a postponement due to circumstances beyond our control, tickets will be rolled over to the rescheduled dates which may be the following year. If you are unable to make the new dates, you may seek an exchange redeemable against a future instalment of World Yoga Festival. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds in any situation. If the festival is cancelled without rescheduled dates, a refund may be offered at the organiser’s discretion for an admin fee of £25 per ticket.

 

1.6 Tickets are in the form of barcodes and will be scanned in upon entry; once a barcode has been swapped for a wristband it cannot be used again.

 

1.7 The first scanned ticket to arrive at the event will be allowed entry; any subsequent ticket with the same code will be denied access. Please treat your ticket as you would cash, the organisers accept no responsibility or liability for any inconvenience caused by the unauthorised duplication of a ticket. 

 

1.8 Admission is at the ticket holder's own risk. The organisers and Premises Licence Holder will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or third parties.

 

1.9 World Yoga Festival can only verify the authenticity of tickets purchased directly from the festival website or official ticket provider. Do not buy tickets from other third-party sources, as we cannot ensure these tickets are genuine. Invalid or duplicate barcodes will not be allowed entry into the festival site.

 

1.10 Wristbands removed from the wrist, tampered with, lost or missing will be rendered invalid and will not be replaced. Those without valid wristbands will be removed from the site. All wristbands issued by World Yoga Festival remain the property of World Yoga Festival.

1.11 Refunds for the rescheduled 2020 event were open until 31st May 2020 only.

 

Security

 

2.1 You may be searched at the entrance. Any items that the organisers consider to be used in an illegal or offensive manner shall be confiscated and you will not be permitted entry to the festival site.

 

2.2 You may be body/bag searched at the gates, onsite or when leaving. Do not bring alcohol, drugs or contraband items into the festival. 

 

2.3 World Yoga Festival has a No Drugs and Alcohol Policy. No legal highs or illegal substances may be brought into the festival site, including nitrous oxide. Anyone caught in possession of such substances can be refused entry or ejected immediately from the festival site.

 

Age policy

 

3.1 Children under 16 should be accompanied at all times.

 

3.2 Anyone aged 6-16 entering on a Child Ticket must be accompanied by an Adult Ticket holding parent or guardian aged 25 or over. Unaccompanied infants, children or teens will be refused entry.

 

3.3 An Adult Ticket holder aged 25 or over can accompany a maximum of 2 Child Ticket holders into the festival.

 

3.4 Any person over the age of 16 who has purchased a child ticket rather than an Adult Ticket will be refused entry into the festival.  

 

3.5 Child ticket holders can only enter the festival with the person who purchased their ticket. i.e. their parent, guardian or nominated guardian. For safety reasons, any persons attempting to enter the festival with a child ticket holder, must be able to prove they bought the ticket for the child and / or is their parent, legal guardian or nominated guardian. 

 

Banned Items

 

4.1 World Yoga Festival has a zero-tolerance policy regarding the possession, use or sale of Nitrous Oxide. If you are caught at the entrance gate with any amount of Nitrous Oxide or dispensers, you will be asked to put them into the amnesty bin or refused entry on to site. If you are caught with Nitrous Oxide on site it will be confiscated and you run the risk of being immediately ejected.

 

4.2 Prohibited items include; knives including locking knives, sound systems, glass bottles excluding make-up and perfume, fireworks, explosives, BBQ's, smoke and gas canisters, air horns, flares, weapons, laser devices, drones and UAV's, sky lanterns, and illegal drugs and New Psychoactive Substances (legal highs), open bottles of any kind of liquid that can be consumed. Prohibited items will be confiscated from attendees. If refusal to give items up should occur, World Yoga Festival has the right to refuse entry or enforce immediate ejection.

 

4.3 No open fires by any ticket holder will be allowed on the festival site.

 

General

 

5.1 The artist and performer line-up and all billed attractions may be subject to change at any time without notice.

 

5.2 Strictly no trading or other commercial activity by any ticket holder will be allowed on the festival site without the organisers’ prior written consent.

 

5.3 As a condition of sale, the ticket holder consents to being filmed, photographed and recorded for television, radio, webcast and other public broadcast and/or for any video/DVD or by onsite CCTV cameras and recordings for security purposes.

 

5.4 Tickets cannot be used as part of any marketing, media or sales promotion whether commercial or non-commercial without prior written permission of the event organisers. The marks, World Yoga Festival and the World Yoga Festival logo, are registered United Kingdom and European Community trademarks and may not be used without the express written permission of World Yoga Festival and The Arsha Kula Foundation Limited.

 

5.5 World Yoga Festival is an alcohol-free event and there will be no sale of alcohol on site.

 

5.6 No glass is to be brought onto site for safety reasons. No opened bottles can be brought on to site – you can bring sealed plastic bottles of water or soft drinks. Any opened bottles will be confiscated on entry to the festival.

 

5.7 If you are arriving in a live-in vehicle, please be aware that we will not allow any sort of unsealed container of liquid.

 

5.8 In accordance with Smoke Free Regulations, the tented arenas and other areas of the festival are designated No Smoking areas. Failure to comply with these regulations and event signage may result in ejection.

 

5.9 If you are caught urinating or defecating in places other than a toilet, you run the risk of immediate ejection from the festival site.

 

5.10 Please use recycling bins provided. Waste is hand sorted off site and 100% recycled.

 

5.11 The burning of plastics, bedding, tents, furniture is not permitted anywhere on the site and could result in criminal charges being brought against anyone caught doing so.

 

5.12 World Yoga Festival is for lovely people to come and have four days of pure yoga teachings combing the five elements of the world. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and anyone found acting in such a way will be immediately ejected without refund.

 

5.13 Strictly no animals (with the exception of Guide dogs) will be allowed on the site.

 

5.14 Warning: exposure to loud and excessive music may be damaging to your hearing.

 

5.15 Pyrotechnics, lasers, smoke machines, strobe lighting and special effects may take place during some performances.

 

5.16 By attending World Yoga Festival, you give your express consent to your actual or simulated likeness being included within any film, photograph, audio and/or audiovisual recording to be exploited in any and all media for any purpose at any time throughout the world, the copyright to which shall be owned by the Promoter or its contractors without payment or compensation. If You attend a World Yoga Festival with your child aged under 18 years you give the foregoing your express consent on their behalf. This includes filming by the police or security staff that may be carried out for the security of customers. 5.17 The organiser reserves the right to amend or add to these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
