Swami Brahmavidananda Saraswati

Swami Brahmavidananda Saraswati is a traditional and contemporary teacher of Vedanta. He believes that “Vedanta is not only for sadhus but very much for people who are living life to the fullest and who want more from life.” Armed with this understanding, for more than thirty years, Swamiji has taught and reached out to different groups of people– students of Vedanta, students and teachers of yoga, seekers and people across all ages and stages of life. With no compromise on traditional Vedanta teaching, Swamiji is gifted in being able to get to the core of any issue while working with individuals to co create the life they deeply desire. He conducts various programmes – spiritual unfoldment classes, spiritual enhancement camps, spiritual retreats, corporate programmes in Mumbai and India. His corporate programmes with leading multinational companies and programmes with educational institutions are focused on strategy, team building, spirituality in management and personal transformation.  With an unswerving commitment for traditional wisdom and drawing from the roots of yoga, he has taught advanced yoga teachers traditional and foundational yoga texts such as Patanjali’s yoga sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samhita and Shiva Sutras. Swami Brahmavidananda has been a practitioner of a system of Tai chi chuan and Qi gong, closely allied to yoga and martial arts. He started Aarsha Vidya Foundation to teach and share the knowledge inherited from our traditional masters.
 
Formerly a marine engineer, Swamiji studied the Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Brahmasutras and other scriptures under H.H. Swami Dayananda Saraswatiji at the Sandeepany Sadhanalaya (1976-78, Chinmaya Mission Ashram) at Powai, Mumbai. As a youth, he was inspired by H.H.Swami Chinmayanandaji. He then spent seven years at Rishikesh in the Himalayas, doing advanced studies in Vedanta under various traditional teachers like Swami Tarananda Giriji and Swami Harihara Teerthaji.
