Ondy Willson
Ondy has been a Buddhist practitioner since 1979, and established a Buddhist group in her hometown (Yeshe Buddhist Group) in 2001. She has offered teachings internationally and has served as a FPMT (Foundation of the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition) Touring Teacher since 2007. She has taught in Tushita Meditation Centre in Dharamsala, the seat of The Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and also at Root Institute in Bodhgaya, where the Buddha attained enlightenment.
Ondy specialises in making the teachings accessible and relevant to contemporary life, so with this in mind left her last teaching post to develop “Inner Management” personal development training. This morphed into her current business of Mindfulness Based Mind Training (MBMT) that encapsulates Buddhist Psychology in a secular framework, and builds on the current interest in Mindfulness Training (www.wellseeingconsultancy.co.uk). She has much varied experience of delivering teaching and training to professional, public sector and private organisations, as well as in Dharma settings. With a background in school teaching since 1976, and with several educational books on Religion and Spirituality published, Ondy’s broad and eclectic experience makes her an original and challenging teacher
