Kirsten Agar Ward
Kirsten took up Iyengar Yoga in the 1980s after graduating in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. She is fortunate to have studied at RIMYI more than twenty times and continues to visit annually, (Covid allowing) to study with Prashant Iyengar.
She has taught Iyengar Yoga for 24 years and is one of the most senior Iyengar Yoga teachers in the UK, invited to teach all over the UK and overseas, including several visits to China. She was the lead teacher for the Swedish and Norwegian National Iyengar Yoga Convention in 2012 with Guruji’s blessing, and was a guest teacher at the Bermuda Yoga Festival in 2016.
Kirsten is based in Bath and co-founded the Bath Iyengar Yoga Centre in 2000 with her husband Richard.
