Dear visitors, please take a moment to read the below on how World Yoga Festival will now be operating this 29th July - 1st August.
With the removal of restrictions, we are looking forward to welcoming you to the festival in the safest way possible. With that in mind here are the measures that we will have in place and how you can help to mitigate any risks.
1 - PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU FEEL UNWELL, HAVE ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS OR ARE SELF-ISOLATING OR HAVE BEEN RECENTLY EXPOSED TO INFECTION.
2 - We will not be implementing a Covid passport/certification system. We realise that there are many reasons why some visitors may not be vaccinated.
However before attending the festival we would recommend that you do everything you can to make sure that you personally are not infectious. You can do this in some of the following ways:
• Getting vaccinated
• Taking a free lateral flow test
• Reporting that you are immune (because of previous infection)
3 - Masks. Although they are not mandatory anymore, they are still recommended in crowded indoor spaces which may include the evening concerts and shared toilet/washroom facilities. This will not be mandatory for anyone but we ask that you respect anyone who chooses to wear one and if you are happy to do so we would encourage it. Please note that masks are not recommended during exercise including yoga practice.
4 - Air flow. Where possible we will have tent sides open to take advantage of being an outdoor event and the lowest risk associated with that.
5 - Pinch points. We are a small event and are lucky to have lots of space available to us. We will be keeping an eye on mat spacing within the tents and ensuring that there is plenty of space between mats and guests so that everyone can feel comfortable. Please ensure you arrive at each class in plenty of time to ensure you get in as space will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sensible when it comes to queuing - leave plenty of space and consider coming back later if there are queues for toilets/catering facilities etc.
6 - Cleanliness. We will operate with an enhanced cleaning regime with frequent wipe down of surface touch points.
7 - We will continue to encourage best hygiene practices by washing hands and using our sanitising stations upon entry and throughout the event.
First and foremost, be kind and be respectful of yourself and others. See you soon!
